Construction Pathway Instructor

LA CAUSA YouthBuild is seeking a full-time Construction Pathway Instructor to lead classroom and hands-on construction training for youth ages 16–24+. This role oversees all construction training activities, delivers industry-recognized pre-apprenticeship curriculum, enforces safety standards, and supervises youth at worksites. The instructor prepares up to 40 participants for construction careers through skills training, certifications, and job readiness activities, while maintaining required documentation and grant reporting.

Job Placement Coach

The Job Placement Coach reports to the Program Director and provides services to YouthBuild members, including counseling, character development, job development, tutoring, case management, and referrals. include fostering life skills, leadership abilities, and goal-setting skills, as well as helping members overcome barriers to success. The Coach is also responsible for securing placement opportunities in post-secondary education, vocational training, and apprenticeships.

Intake Specialist

The Intake Specialist will play a vital role in the program's success by reaching out to the community, advocating for its benefits, and increasing student enrollment. The Intake Specialist will be responsible for identifying care management programs and public benefits that can be availed by the program participants. Additionally, the Intake Specialist will provide comprehensive information, assistance, referrals, and case management services to all program participants, including walk-ins, as and when required. The Intake Specialist duties will not only ensure that all program participants receive the help they need but also that the program is well-known and supported within the community.
